3rd INTERNATIONAL
BALOON
MEETING - MYANMAR
3rd International Balloon Meeting - Myanmar is going to be held from 3rd
February to 17th February sponsored by Golden Express Tours Co., Ltd and Blaser
Swisselube Co., with the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.
The hot air balloon team, comprising 28 persons from
Switzerland, France and USA, leaded by pilot Mr. Peter Blaser is flying over Taunggyi,
Inle, Mandalay, Monywa and Bagan. All hot air balloons are registered aircrafts.
1st and 2nd International Balloon
Meetings were successfully celebrated in Myanmar in 1999 and in 2000 respectively. In the
first international balloonist team comprised 9 persons and 27 persons in the second team.
Nowadays in some developed countries, riding in the hot air
balloons and enjoying the sightseeing becomes quite popular. We celebrate International
hot air balloons meeting as a means of tourism promotion.
Tourists can enjoy s s by riding in the hot air balloons flying over Bagan area
twice a day. Come and appreciate the natural beauty of Ancient Bagan Archaeological Zone.
